The CatchX Black Samurai bait boat can be controlled either through the Rippton app or the remote control. To control it using the remote control, unfold the rack and antennas of the remote controller. Attach your mobile device to the mobile device holder clamp. Use the joystick to navigate the boat. To release burley and the hooked fishing line, press the corresponding buttons on the remote control. For example, to release hopper 1, press the HOPPER1 button and long press the CONFIRM button. To release the hook, press the HOOK RELEASE button and wait for the screen to show "hook selected" before long pressing the CONFIRM button.
To control the boat using your mobile device, first preload the map on the Rippton app by entering the app with an internet connection and navigating to the operation interface. Then, open the Wi-Fi settings on your phone and connect to the "catchx_xxxxxx" network using the password 12345678. This will disconnect your mobile device from the internet. Open the Rippton app and tap "Device" at the top. Find CatchX BLACK (2 Hoppers) and tap "Enter". From there, you can set a route for a casting mission, calibrate the boat, select hoppers, and perform the mission. The app provides detailed instructions on each step.
