To install the CONDUCTIX wampfler 040871 Spring Retractor, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the equipment on which the spring retractor will be fastened is strong enough.
2. Determine the total load, making sure it falls within the specified type values.
3. Hang the retractor within the middle of the extension area of the rope for optimal performance.
4. Fasten the safety suspension of the retractor on an adequate rake using the appropriate accessories.
5. Make sure the existing construction is strong enough to support the retractor.
6. If attaching the accessory rope, ensure it is correctly positioned and consider the maximum allowed falling distance.
7. Use the clamp to secure both ends of the rope, laying one on top of the other.
8. After the first tightening, fasten the clamp with the recommended torque.
