To connect your SENSECAP Connect M2 Multi-Platform Gateway to The Things Network, you can follow these steps:
1. Log into The Things Stack: If you don't have a TTN account, please register first.
2. Obtain Gateway EUI: The Gateway EUI can be found on the device label or Local Console.
3. Configure TTN Gateway: Provide the following information in the TTN configuration:
- Gateway ID: A unique identifier for your gateway (lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes only).
- Gateway name: A name for your gateway.
- Frequency plan: Select the corresponding frequency plan according to your gateway version.
4. Configure Gateway via Web UI: Access the Local Console and follow these steps:
- Step 1: LoRa Network Settings
- Navigate to LoRa > LoRa Network.
- Set the Mode to "Packet Forward".
- Gateway EUI will automatically be populated.
- Enter the Server Address for The Things Network server (e.g., eu1.cloud.thethings.network).
- Set the Server Port (Up/Down) to 1700.
- Save and apply the settings.
- Step 2: Channel Plan Settings
- Navigate to LoRa > Channel Plan.
- Select the Region and Frequency plan according to your choice.
- Save and apply the settings.
5. Check Gateway Status: After completing the settings, you can view the live data of your gateway. You should see that your gateway is connected to TTN.
Please note that these instructions assume you are connecting via either Packet Forwarders or Basic Station. Make sure to choose the appropriate method based on your requirements.
