To collect a sample of ballast water using the embio diagnostics Ballast Rapid Testing Kit, follow these steps:
1. Place the filter paper with a diameter of 240 ø into the sample container provided.
2. Filter 100ml of ballast water through the filter paper in the sample container.
3. Place the filter paper with a diameter of 25 ø into the filter holder and xxxx it tight.
4. Use the disposable syringe to pass all the water from step 2 through the filter holder.
5. After the filtration, collect the filter using the disposable tweezer and place it into the 15ml disposable plastic test tube containing 2ml of buffer solution.
6. Shake the test tube well to ensure the sample is ready for analysis.
