To answer a call on the Polycom VVX 500 Business Media Phone, you have several options depending on your preferred method of communication.
1. Answer with the Speakerphone:
- When a call comes in, you can press the "Answer" soft key on the touchscreen.
- Alternatively, you can press the dedicated speakerphone button (if available) on the phone.
- This will answer the call using the speakerphone, allowing you to have a hands-free conversation.
2. Answer with the Handset:
- If you prefer to answer calls using the handset, simply pick up the handset when a call comes in.
- The call will automatically be routed to the handset, allowing you to have a private conversation.
3. Answer with a Headset:
- If you have a headset connected to the phone, you can answer calls using the headset.
- Press the dedicated headset button (if available) on the phone to answer the call using the headset.
- Alternatively, you can press the "Answer" soft key on the touchscreen.
Please note that if you are already on an active call and a new call comes in, you can press the "Answer" soft key to answer the new call. The current call will be automatically placed on hold, allowing you to switch between the two calls.
Remember to adjust the volume levels according to your preference using the dedicated volume buttons on the phone. You can adjust the call volume during a call by pressing the "ETD" button, and you can adjust the ringer volume when the phone is idle or ringing by pressing the volume button.
