To install the ENDORFY EY3A010 Fortis 5 ARGB CPU Cooler on your AMD or Intel processor, please follow the steps below:
1. Before starting the installation, ensure that your computer is powered off and unplugged from the power source.
2. Identify the appropriate mounting bracket for your processor. The ENDORFY EY3A010 Fortis 5 ARGB CPU Cooler supports AMD, Intel, Intel HEDT, and Intel LGA 2011/2066 sockets.
3. For AMD installation:
a. Attach the AMD mounting bracket to the base of the cooler using the provided screws.
b. Apply thermal paste to the center of your AMD processor.
c. Carefully place the cooler on top of the processor, aligning the mounting holes on the bracket with the corresponding holes on the cooler.
d. Secure the cooler in place by tightening the screws in a diagonal pattern until they are snug.
4. For Intel installation:
a. Attach the appropriate Intel mounting bracket to the base of the cooler using the provided screws.
b. Apply thermal paste to the center of your Intel processor.
c. Carefully place the cooler on top of the processor, aligning the mounting holes on the bracket with the corresponding holes on the cooler.
d. Secure the cooler in place by tightening the screws in a diagonal pattern until they are snug.
5. Connect the ARGB cable from the cooler to the ARGB header on your motherboard to enable RGB lighting effects. Refer to your motherboard's manual for the location of the ARGB header.
6. Once the cooler is securely installed and the ARGB cable is connected, you can proceed to connect the cooler's power connector to the CPU fan header on your motherboard.
7. Double-check all connections and ensure that the cooler is properly seated on the processor.
8. Finally, close your computer case and reconnect the power cable.
