To connect the Easee SDM630MCT-RC Equalizer Kit to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have the Wi-Fi name and password available. The Wi-Fi must have a password and cannot be an open Wi-Fi network.
2. Ensure that you are connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The Equalizer does not work with a 5 GHz network.
3. Open the Easee Installer App on your phone and log in to your Easee Cloud account.
4. Pair the Equalizer with the app by creating a new facility and providing site information, including the Wi-Fi information.
5. Scan the backplate of the Equalizer using the app and complete the site setup.
6. At the Site Overview in the app, add the Equalizer and provide the Wi-Fi information again.
7. Scan the Equalizer with your phone's NFC reader or follow the instructions in the app to connect the Equalizer to the meter reader.
8. Update the Equalizer to at least version 99. This update may take up to 10 minutes.
9. Set the meter type to "Eastron SDM" and the main fuse limit to "100%" in the app.
10. Set the circuits for load balancing to "Circuit (on)" in the app.
11. Restart the device.
12. Transfer ownership of the Equalizer to the customer by uploading it to the cloud and inviting the new owner via phone number.
If you encounter any issues during the connection process, make sure to check the Wi-Fi name and password, use a 2.4 GHz network, and ensure that the Equalizer has good Wi-Fi coverage. You can also try moving the Equalizer closer to the charging robot or install a Wi-Fi extender for better signal strength. If you still have trouble, you can contact Easee Customer Excellence for further assistance.
