To adjust the power level on the CONTROLOMATIC SmarterSpa Saltwater Chlorine Generator, follow these steps:
1. Press both the Up button and the Down button on the control box at the same time. The White light will turn on solid, indicating that it is in power change mode.
2. Press the Up button to increase the power level. The Green (Salt High) light will flash each time the Up button is pressed. The power level ranges from 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest power level.
3. Press the Down button to decrease the power level. The Red (Salt Low) light will flash each time the Down button is pressed.
4. When you have reached the desired power level, do not press any buttons for three seconds. The White light will flash the new power level, confirming the setting change.
The power level determines how long the CONTROLOMATIC SmarterSpa Saltwater Chlorine Generator runs during each chlorine generation cycle. The longer it runs, the more chlorine it adds to your spa. Here is a general guide for the power level settings and their corresponding on times:
- Power Level 1: 30 minutes
- Power Level 2: 1 hour
- Power Level 3: 2 hours
- Power Level 4: 3 hours
- Power Level 5: 4 hours
- Power Level 6: 5 hours
- Power Level 7: 6 hours
- Power Level 8: 7 hours
- Power Level 9: 8 hours
- Power Level 10: 9 hours
It is recommended to start with a lower power level and adjust as needed based on the chlorine levels in your spa. Regular testing of chlorine levels and pH is also recommended to ensure proper water maintenance.
