To answer a call on the Polycom VVX 300 phone system, you have several options depending on your preferred method. Here are the steps for each method:
1. Answer with the speakerphone:
- When a call comes in, press the "Answer" soft key on the phone's screen.
- The call will be answered using the speakerphone.
2. Answer with the handset:
- When a call comes in, simply pick up the handset from the phone.
- The call will be answered using the handset.
3. Answer with a headset:
- When a call comes in, press the headset button on the phone (if available).
- The call will be answered using the headset.
4. Answer a new call while on an active call:
- If you are already on a call and a new call comes in, press the "Answer" soft key on the phone's screen.
- The current call will be automatically placed on hold, and you will be connected to the new call.
Please note that if you have a voicemail, an envelope icon will appear adjacent to a Line key, indicating that you have voicemail. You can tap the designated VM button and follow the prompts to access your voicemail.
