To connect the TESLA Dual Smart Plug to your Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
Step 1: Download & Registration
- Scan the QR Code on the user manual to download the Tesla Smart App or search for "Tesla Smart" in the Apple Store or Google Play to install the app.
- Open the Tesla Smart App and tap on "Register" to create an account using your phone number or email. Sign in to the app.
Step 2: Add Devices in Easy Mode (Recommended)
- Make sure your TESLA Dual Smart Plug is powered on.
- Ensure that your mobile phone is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
- Press and hold the power button on the smart plug for more than 5 seconds until the indicator starts flashing quickly (about 2 times per second). This indicates that the device is ready for configuration.
- Open the Tesla Smart App and tap on the "+" icon located at the top right corner of the app.
- Select the device type and tap on "Confirm indicator rapidly blink." The app will fetch the password of the Wi-Fi network your mobile phone is connected to.
- Tap on "Confirm" to connect to the device. Once you see the message "Successfully add 1 device," the connection is completed, and your device will be listed in your app.
