To activate the Key Lock function on the Hotpoint FFU3D W 1 Fridge-Freezer, follow these steps:
1. Locate the control panel on the appliance.
2. Press and hold the "D" button on the control panel until a dot lights up above the function button.
3. The Key Lock function is now activated, and the control panel is locked, except for the switching-off function.
4. To deactivate the Key Lock function, press the "D" button again until the dot above the function button goes off.
5. The Key Lock function will remain activated even if the appliance is switched off and on again. To switch on the appliance with the Key Lock function activated, first, deactivate the Key Lock function by pressing the "D" button until the dot above the function button goes off.
Please note that the presence of water, liquid spilled from pots, or any objects resting on the controls can accidentally activate or deactivate the Key Lock function.
