To install the Olink custom recipe for the NextSeq 550 sequencing run, follow these steps:
1. Unzip and place the Olink custom recipe file, "Olink_NSQ550_HighOutput_V1," in the following folder of the NextSeq 550 instrument: C:\Program Files\Illumina\NextSeq Control Software\Recipe\Custom\High\.
2. Under System Customization > Manage Instrument on the NextSeq 550, enable Custom Recipes. If this option is not selected, the custom recipe will not appear during the run setup.
Note:
- In the NCS 4.0 software version, the option to select a custom recipe will only appear after the reagent cartridge is loaded, not in the earlier setup page.
- The run must be set in manual mode to allow custom recipes.
