To change the beam angle lens and color filter on the LUMASCAPE sDLT Surface Luminaires, follow these steps:
1. Remove the existing components: Carefully remove the current beam angle lens and color filter from the luminaire. Take note of their positions for future reference.
2. Optional: Select the desired beam angle lens and color filter: If you wish to change the beam angle or color, select the appropriate lens and filter from the available options.
3. Replace the components: Align the new beam angle lens and color filter with the corresponding slots on the luminaire. Gently push them into place until they are securely attached.
4. Mount the bracket: Install the mounting bracket to the junction box or mounting surface where you want to position the luminaire. Ensure it is securely fastened.
5. Run the wiring: Pass the luminaire wiring through the mounting bracket to connect it to the electrical supply. Make sure the wiring is properly routed and secured.
6. Check voltage: Use a voltmeter to measure the voltage at the luminaire. It should read between 11 to 15 volts. If the voltage is outside this range, consult a professional electrician.
7. Connect wiring: Use a waterproof connector to connect the luminaire wiring to the electrical supply. This will ensure a safe and reliable connection.
8. Attach the luminaire: Position the luminaire onto the mounting bracket and secure it in place. Ensure it is properly aligned and tightened.
