To install the LUMENA Pathos 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Path Light, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the fitting is not damaged. If it is, do not use it.
2. This is a Class 1 product and must be earthed. It should be fitted by a competent and qualified electrician.
3. Install the light in accordance with IEE wiring regulations and current Building Regulations.
4. Switch off the mains supply before installing or maintaining the fitting to prevent electrocution. Ensure that others cannot restore the electrical supply without your knowledge.
5. Connect the light fitting to a circuit with a 30Ma RCD (Residual Current Device) fitted. It is recommended to have a maximum of 12-15 fittings on each circuit.
6. If you are replacing an existing fitting, make a careful note of the connections.
7. Make all connections as watertight as possible to avoid electrical shortage.
8. When changing the bulb, switch off the mains and allow the fitting to cool before handling. Always use the correct type and wattage bulb and never exceed the stated wattage.
9. The unit may get warm while in use for a period of time.
10. The voltage for the light is 220-240v, and the maximum wattage is 20w.
11. The bulb holder is ES/E27, and the recommended bulb is a 15w LED Corn Bulb or Candle Bulb.
12. The light has an IP Rating of IP44, indicating its level of protection against water and dust.
13. The cable used is 1.5mm 3 Core (H07RN-F) with a length of approximately 0.5m.

21. Follow the provided instructions for drilling mounting holes, connecting the cable, wiring the terminal block, sealing the junction box, and securing the mounting plate and tube.
22. The light also has an adjustable mounting base plate for installation on uneven surfaces. Loosen the socket screws, secure the base, adjust it with a spirit level, and then tighten the mounting screws.
23. To install or replace the lamp, unscrew the head to reveal the bulb holder. Remove or insert the lamp ( xxxx base - E27), and then replace and secure the head on the fitting.
24. If condensation occurs inside the fitting, turn off the power supply, safely remove the head, and wipe it dry with a soft cloth. It is recommended to change lamps or install on a warm, dry day.
