1. Start by gathering the necessary tools required for installation. These tools include a tape measure, a drill, a 3mm drill bit, a 10mm socket wrench, and a torque wrench.
2. Before installation, ensure that the vehicle's roof is clean and free from any debris or dirt.
3. Position the KammBar onto the roof of the vehicle, ensuring it is centered and aligned properly.
4. Using a tape measure, measure the distance between the front and rear fixing points of the KammBar to ensure they are equal on both sides.
5. Once the KammBar is properly aligned, mark the positions of the fixing points on the roof using a pencil or marker.
6. Remove the KammBar from the roof and set it aside.
7. Using a 3mm drill bit, drill pilot holes at the marked fixing points on the roof.
8. Place the KammBar back onto the roof, aligning it with the pilot holes.
9. Insert the provided M8 bolts through the KammBar and into the pilot holes.
10. Secure the bolts using a 10mm socket wrench, ensuring they are tightened securely but not over-tightened.
11. Repeat steps 7-10 for all remaining fixing points.
12. Once all bolts are securely tightened, use a torque wrench to ensure they are tightened to the recommended torque specified in the manual.
13. After installation, visually inspect the KammBar to ensure it is properly secured and aligned.
