To connect the VigilLink VLIP-SD10G-ECRD 10G SDVoE Quad HDMI Input Module to your devices, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a surge protection device installed to protect your equipment from electrical spikes and surges.
2. Connect the HDMI sources (such as Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, etc.) to the HDMI input ports (labeled HDMI IN 1~4) on the module using HDMI cables.
3. Connect the IR control devices (such as remote controls) to the IR input port (labeled IR IN) on the module using a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack cable.
4. Connect the IR blaster cables (provided in the package) to the IR output ports (labeled IR OUT 1~4) on the module. These cables are used to control the HDMI sources connected to the module.
5. Connect the module to your display or other devices using the NetGear 96 10G Ethernet switch.
6. Ensure that the power supply is connected to the module using the provided AC power adapter.
7. Power on the module and your connected devices.
Once the connections are made and the module is powered on, you can use the IR control devices to control the HDMI sources connected to the module.
