To calibrate the HAMILTON CPS71E Digital Memosens pH Sensor, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have fresh, unused Hamilton DuraCal pH buffers for calibration.
2. Connect the sensor to a Memosens-compatible transmitter using a Memosens data cable.
3. Turn on the transmitter and wait for communication to be established between the sensor and transmitter.
4. Access the calibration menu on the transmitter. Refer to the manual of the transmitter for detailed instructions on accessing the calibration menu.
5. Select the calibration option for pH measurement.
6. Immerse the sensor in the first pH buffer solution (e.g., pH 4) and wait for the reading to stabilize.
7. Enter the pH value of the buffer solution into the transmitter and confirm the calibration.
8. Rinse the sensor with water and dry it before immersing it in the second pH buffer solution (e.g., pH 7).
9. Wait for the reading to stabilize and enter the pH value of the buffer solution into the transmitter. Confirm the calibration.
10. Rinse the sensor again and repeat the process with a third pH buffer solution if necessary.
11. After calibration, the sensor is ready for use.
