To install the HBCP Compressor Protection sensor, follow these steps:
1. Select the appropriate size for your pipe: 1/4" for pipes with a dimension of less than 2", and 1" for pipes with a dimension of greater than 2".
2. Mount the sensor in a horizontal or vertical position. It should be perpendicular within +/- 1.0 and offset from the center of the pipe. There should be a distance of 0-2mm between the sensor and the inner wall of the pipe. The internal pipe and the sensor pipe may be in contact.
3. The HBCP sensor can be mounted close to the compressor or up to 5m away from it.
4. The sensor is installed with a standard cable without a sheath. If the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is higher than described in EN 61326, a sheathed cable must be used.
5. CAUTION: If welding work is being done on the unit, the electronic part of the sensor must be removed to prevent damage to the electronics.
