To remove a hinge pin using the RYOBI A99HPR1 Hinge Pin Remover-Installer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure compatibility and fit before using the accessory. Do not use if any part is damaged or missing.
2. With the punch facing up, slide the product onto the base of the hinge until the punch contacts the bottom of the hinge pin. If the hinge pin does not extend past the base of the hinge, insert the punch into the hinge until it contacts the pin.
3. Using a hammer, forcefully tap the strike plate until the punch pushes the head of the pin out of the hinge.
4. Slide the product down so that the punch is no longer inside the hinge.
5. Hold the product at an angle with the tip under the head of the hinge pin.
6. Continue tapping the strike plate until the pin is completely removed from the hinge.
Note: Be cautious as the door could move unexpectedly after the pin is removed.
