To install the Siemens EC6A5PB90 Gas Hob, follow these steps:
1. Read the instruction manual carefully and ensure that the appliance is installed correctly according to the safety instructions.
2. Make sure that all installation, connection, regulating, and conversion work is carried out by an authorized professional, taking into account the applicable regulations and legal requirements.
3. Ensure that the kitchen is sufficiently ventilated, especially when operating the gas cooking appliance.
4. Do not connect the appliance to an exhaust gas system for combustion products.
5. The appliance should not be installed in boats or vehicles.
6. Before installing the appliance, check that the local conditions and supplier specifications are compatible with the appliance settings specified on the rating plate.
7. Prepare the units by making a cut-out in the worktop with the required dimensions and sealing the cut surfaces of wooden work surfaces with a special glue seal.
8. Position the hob with the upper side facing down on a flat, stable surface and apply the adhesive seal supplied to the lower edge of the hob.

10. Insert the hob into the recess and tighten the brackets fully.

12. For electrical connection, only replace the connection cable by technical customer service and connect appliances with a plug to a correctly installed socket with a protective earth conductor.
13. If needed, the appliance can be converted to other types of gas following the instructions provided in the manual.
