Cleaning the EUROtops M779/ X-H05 USB Mini Ultrasonic Humidifier with Atmosphere Lamp is important to ensure its proper functioning and to maintain hygiene. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to clean the humidifier:
1. Before cleaning, make sure to disconnect the USB cable if it is connected.
2. Clean the exterior of the humidifier with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.
3. To clean the water tank, empty any remaining water in the tank to prevent the accumulation of bacteria. Moisten a cloth in a solution of warm water with a little washing-up liquid. Squeeze out excess moisture and clean the interior of the tank. Rinse with clear water and dry with kitchen paper.
4. The cotton rod, which filters water and releases clean water mist, should be cleaned regularly if you often use the humidifier. Take out the cotton rod and soak it for 1 minute in water, then put it back into the catheter.
5. If there are scale deposits in the humidifier, fill the water tank with water containing a small quantity of white vinegar. Allow it to rest for 15 minutes, then rinse out the tank well and dry it thoroughly.
Remember not to immerse the humidifier in water or any other liquid and not to use abrasives or cleaners during the cleaning process.
