1. Before starting the installation, make sure to disconnect the power supply to the boiler by turning off the switch placed upstream from the appliance.
2. The kit's electrical connection cables should pass through the appropriate cable clamps. Tighten the cable clamps after making the electrical connections.
3. Connect the zone valves or zone circulator pumps to the terminal boards "X2" and "X4" of the zone kit. Connect the earthing to terminal board "X3" in compliance with the numerical order dedicated to the various zones.
4. Connect the contacts of the room thermostats to the terminal board "X9" of the zone kit.
5. Connect the zones control unit to the boiler by connecting the "X5" and "X15" terminal boards of the zone control unit to the boiler connection terminal board. Remove any jumper present at terminal boards 40 and 41 of the boiler. If terminal 21 is not available on the boiler, during the summer phase, ensure that the room thermostats do not make any requests to avoid unnecessary operation of the circulator pumps and energy waste.
6. Connect the power supply of the zone kit to the 230 V AC mains by inserting an omnipolar switch and a correctly sized fuse according to the loads connected to the zone kit. Alternatively, you can connect the 230 V AC power supply of the zone kit directly to terminals A and B on the boiler after checking the absorption (fuse 3.15 A).
7. Set up the CARV2 (Comando Amico Remoto) for On-Off operation according to the CARV2 instruction booklet. The CARV2 can be used to control zone 1 as an alternative to the room thermostat. Refer to the relevant instructions booklet for CARV2 connection to the boiler. When the CARV2 requests heating mode, the relay of zone 1 (main zone) will close.
8. If you are combining the system with external circulator pumps (up to a maximum of 3), insert any one-way valves and regulating valves as required.
