To connect the DIGITUS DS-55520 4K HDBaseT HDMI Extender Set, follow these steps:
1. Transmitter Unit Connections:
- Connect the HDMI source (e.g., DVD or Blu-ray player) to the HDMI input port labeled "HDMI IN" on the transmitter unit.
- Connect a CAT6 (or higher) network cable to the RJ45 (HDBaseT) output port labeled "HD BaseT OUT" on the transmitter unit.
- Connect the IR receiver cable to the IR input port labeled "IR IN" on the transmitter unit.
- Connect the IR transmitter cable to the IR output port labeled "IR OUT" on the transmitter unit.
- If using RS232 control, connect the RS232 cable to the RS232 (3-pin Phoenix) port on the transmitter unit.
- Connect the power adapter to the power adapter input port labeled "DC 24V/1A" on the transmitter unit.
2. Receiver Unit Connections:
- Connect the HDMI output port labeled "HDMI OUT" on the receiver unit to the display device (e.g., TV) using an HDMI cable.
- Connect the CAT6 (or higher) network cable to the RJ45 input port labeled "HD BaseT IN" on the receiver unit.
- Connect the IR receiver cable to the IR input port labeled "IR IN" on the receiver unit.
- Connect the IR transmitter cable to the IR output port labeled "IR OUT" on the receiver unit.
- If using RS232 control, connect the RS232 cable to the RS232 (3-pin Phoenix) port on the receiver unit.
- Connect the power adapter to the power adapter input port labeled "DC 24V/1A" on the receiver unit.
3. Power On:
- Plug the power cords of both the transmitter and receiver units into a power outlet.
4. Check Connection:
- The connection signal indicator lamps on both the transmitter and receiver units should illuminate if the devices are properly connected.
