To program the Niko 05-311 Mini Hand Held RF Transmitter, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the battery protection has been removed and that the battery and contacts are making good permanent contact.
2. Check the mains voltage on the receiver in the distribution board.
3. Make sure that everything is connected as indicated in the wiring diagrams provided in the user manual for the receivers.
4. Reset and reprogram the receiver according to the instructions in the user manual for the receivers.
5. If you are experiencing issues with an existing installation, check the batteries of the transmitter(s), the mains voltage on the receiver, and the operation of the connected load.
6. Check for any interference caused by changes in the system environment, such as metal cabinets, walls, or furniture being moved. If possible, restore the original condition.
7. If the transmitter is not functioning properly, try walking closer to the receiver to see if the system works at a reduced distance. If it does, the transmitter may have been placed outside the transmitter range or there may be an interference problem. You can use the diagnosis unit (05-370) to measure the strength of the RF signal. If the transmitter is outside the range, you can use the repeater (05-335).
8. If the system still does not work after placing the transmitter closer to the receiver, check the programming and/or the battery of the transmitter.
9. If the system automatically switches on and off, it may be due to a foreign transmitter being programmed in the receiver within the receiver range. Reset the receiver and reprogram the relevant addresses according to the instructions in the user manual for the receivers.
10. If the system automatically switches off, it may be due to brief current interruptions or other factors. Check the programming and battery of the transmitter to troubleshoot the issue.
Please refer to the user manual for the Niko RF receivers that operate according to the Easywave protocol for detailed instructions on programming the RF system.
