To connect the ATEN CV10KM USB to PS-2 Converter to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Locate the USB Type-A Female (Purple) and USB Type-A Female (Green) ports on the converter. These are used for connecting the USB keyboard and mouse, respectively.
2. Connect your USB keyboard to the USB Type-A Female (Purple) port on the converter using a USB cable.
3. Connect your USB mouse to the USB Type-A Female (Green) port on the converter using a USB cable.
4. Locate the PS/2 6-pin Mini-DIN Male (Purple) and PS/2 6-pin Mini-DIN Male (Green) ports on the converter. These are used for connecting the PS/2 keyboard and mouse, respectively.
5. Connect the PS/2 keyboard to the PS/2 6-pin Mini-DIN Male (Purple) port on the converter using a PS/2 cable.
6. Connect the PS/2 mouse to the PS/2 6-pin Mini-DIN Male (Green) port on the converter using a PS/2 cable.
7. If you want to power the converter using an optional power source, locate the USB Type-A Male (Black) port on the converter.
8. Connect the optional power source to the USB Type-A Male (Black) port on the converter using a USB cable.
9. Once all the connections are made, plug the USB Type-A connector of the converter into an available USB port on your computer.
10. The ATEN CV10KM USB to PS-2 Converter is now connected to your computer and ready to use.
