To remove the door card and access the door speaker, follow these steps:
1. Carefully remove the door card by removing the 6 T25 Torx screws and plastic panel clips securing it. Make sure to retain all screws and clips for re-installation.
2. Use a trim removal tool to remove the plastic trim from the center of the door handle. Remove the two T25 Torx screws located behind the trim.
3. With the Torx screws removed, remove the handle completely from the door card.
4. Remove the single T25 Torx xxxx located in the center of the door card.
5. Remove the three T25 Torx screws located along the bottom edge of the door card. Once removed, use a trim removal tool to carefully release the plastic clips securing the door card to the door.
6. With the door card fully released from the door, unplug the window/door switches and release the door opening cable. This is done by unclipping the front edge and sliding it back out of its locating channel. Once released, unhook the metal cable.
7. Once the door card is fully removed, store it safely to avoid damage.
