To connect the DC cables to the GOODWE GW6000-EH EH Series Hybrid Inverter, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the component frames and the bracket system are securely grounded.
2. Use the delivered PV connectors to connect the DC cables. Do not use other connectors, as it may cause equipment damage.
3. Make sure the DC cables are connected tightly, securely, and correctly. Improper wiring can result in poor contacts or high impedances, which can damage the inverter.
4. Use a multimeter to measure the DC cable and ensure there is no reverse polarity connection. Additionally, make sure the voltage is within the maximum DC input voltage specified. Reverse connection and extremely high voltage can cause damage, and the manufacturer will not be liable for such damage.
5. To avoid shock hazards, ensure that the minimum impedance of the PV string to the ground exceeds R, where R = Max. Input Voltage (V)/30mA.
6. Before connecting the battery and the inverter, make sure the battery is off and the inverter is disconnected from PV panels and other AC power sources. The rated voltage of the battery should meet the specifications of the inverter.
7. The PV modules used with the inverter must have an IEC61730 class A rating.
