To adjust the speed of the pneumatic actuator using the SMC AS-0-2F Series Speed Controller, follow these steps:
1. Start with the needle valve in the closed position.
2. Gradually open the needle valve to increase the cylinder speed.
3. To decrease the cylinder speed, turn the needle valve clockwise (closed).
4. To increase the cylinder speed, turn the needle valve counterclockwise (opened).
5. When adjusting the speed, make sure to open or close the needle valve gradually to prevent sudden movements of the actuator.
