To install the EVOLUTION POWERSPORTS AFR 709FC0014 Code Shooter with AFR Belt and Boost for RZR Pro XP, please follow the instructions provided in the instruction manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Start by removing both passenger and driver captain's chairs.
2. Remove the rear firewall access panel to the turbo.
3. Remove the center console passenger side panel by removing (2) push darts and (8) T-40 Torx. Disconnect the Positive and Ground wire from the 12 Volt plug on the rear of the center console.
4. Remove the passenger side panel from the center console by pulling up on the silver trim and disconnecting the clips from the side panel using a small flat blade screwdriver.
5. Locate the Diagnostic port underneath the steering column, which will be an 8-pin port with a purple internal clip.
6. Drill a 1 1/4" hole in the glove box. Remove the OEM rubber grommet and drill from the bottom up.
7. Feed the Polaris male end of the supplied diagnostic triple Indy wiring harness from the glove box, against the firewall on the inside of the cab, over to the Diagnostic plug underneath the steering column. Plug it into the vehicle diagnostic port. The triple Indy part of the plug will stay in the glove box.
8. Install the 02 sensor into the auxiliary 02 sensor bung on the exhaust using a 19mm wrench. Apply anti-seize on the threads, but avoid putting anything on the tip of the sensor.
9. With a 22mm wrench, tighten the 02 sensor in the bung.
10. Route the supplied AFR wiring harness away from any heat source, rotating parts, and potential snags. Run it through the rear firewall, underneath the center console supports, next to the shifter, and up to the firewall. If there is no existing hole in your passenger side panel, drill a hole towards the front of the panel. Feed the AFR wiring harness through the hole and into the glove box. Secure the harness with zip ties.
11. Plug the AFR wiring harness into the AFR module in the glove box. From the AFR module, plug in the grey adaptor to the triple Indy harness (the first or second grey plug). Mount the module on the side of the glove box using Velcro.
12. If you have also purchased the Belt Temperature module, follow the instructions provided in the manual for its installation.
Please note that these are general instructions, and it is important to refer to the specific details and diagrams in the instruction manual for accurate installation. If you require further assistance, you can contact Evolution Powersports Tech Support at (715) 247-3862.
