To install the Ottobock 1H38 Single Axis Foot on your prosthesis, please follow these steps:
1. Begin by installing the foot adapter on the prosthetic foot according to the instructions provided in the manual.
2. Align the prosthetic foot using the recommended alignment methods. For TF (transfemoral) prostheses, you can refer to the prosthetic knee joint instructions for alignment information.
3. Perform a bench alignment or static alignment of the prosthesis according to the instructions provided. If needed, you can request alignment recommendations from Ottobock.
4. Conduct a dynamic trial fitting to ensure optimal gait pattern. Make any necessary adjustments to the alignment, such as angle or slide adjustments.
5. Optional: If desired, you can install a foam cover between the prosthetic socket and prosthetic foot. The foam cover compensates for the movements of the prosthetic foot and knee joint. Follow the instructions provided in the manual for installing the foam cover.
6. Clean the product with a damp, soft cloth and dry it with a soft cloth. Allow it to air dry to remove any residual moisture.
