To charge the Honeywell BW RigRat Multi-Gas Area Monitor, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the instrument is turned off.
2. Use the AC Charge input on the instrument and connect it to the included power adapter.
3. Align the connector and plug, then press in and turn the ring until it clicks to secure the connection.
4. Make sure the charger is firmly attached to the instrument.
5. Connect the AC Adapter's plug to the charger, and plug its transformer into an AC outlet.
6. If you need to charge the instrument in a hazardous area, use the IS Charge input with a SolarPak or Hazardous Area Charger.
7. While charging, the battery icon on the top of the screen will animate.
8. When the battery is fully charged, the icon will display a full battery and stop animating.
