To install the SycamoreLED SY7786 Slimline Infra Red Sensor Cabinet Light, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the electricity supply is isolated before starting any electrical work.
2. Choose a suitable location for the 12V-rated driver, making sure it is protected from moisture or dampness.
3. Determine the position of each light, ensuring they can be connected to the driver using the plug-in connector system.
4. Each light should be positioned to detect the movement of a door.
5. Route the cable in the desired location to allow for plug-in connection to the driver.
6. Remove the front cover and use the supplied screws to attach the base unit to the cabinet.
7. Clip on the front cover.
8. Plug in each light fitting to the driver.
9. Connect the primary side (240v) of the driver to a suitable power supply.
10. Restore power and check the operation of the lighting.
Please note that these instructions should be followed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the current IEE wiring regulations. It is important to switch off the mains power before installation and ensure that others cannot restore the electrical supply without your knowledge.
