To install the EUROfase 41964-019 Ren Modern Satin Black Outdoor Hanging Light, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse at the fuse box.
2. Read the assembly instructions in numerical order to ensure proper installation.
3. It is recommended to use a qualified electrician for the installation of this lighting fixture.
4. All electrical connections must comply with local and National Electrical Code or Canadian Electrical Code standards.
5. Use CSA or UL certified wire connectors suitable for the gauge, type, and number of conductors.
6. Attach the junction box grounding wire (green or bare copper) and the bare copper wire from the fixture together. If the junction box does not have a ground wire, attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground xxxx on the crossbar.
7. Estimated assembly time for the fixture is approximately 25 minutes.
8. Tools required for assembly (not included) include a flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, pliers, electrical tape, and wire cutters. Wire strippers and a ladder may also be helpful.
9. The fixture requires one 60W MAX, T10, 120V 60Hz bulb (not included).
10. Apply silicone gel (not included) around the fixture body where it comes into contact with the wall.
11. Follow the labeled instructions in the manual for connecting the wires:
- A: Use two outlet box screws to secure the fixture to the outlet box.
- B: Connect the black wire (L) from the junction box to the black wire (L) from the fixture using a wire connector.
- C: Connect the white wire (N) from the junction box to the white wire (N) from the fixture using a wire connector.
- D: Connect the green wire/bare copper (G) from the junction box to the green wire/bare copper from the fixture using a wire connector.
- E: Connect the black wire (L) from the fixture to the black wire (L) from the junction box using a wire connector.
- F: Connect the white wire (N) from the fixture to the white wire (N) from the junction box using a wire connector.
- G: Connect the green wire/bare copper from the fixture to the green ground xxxx on the crossbar.
- H: Use three wire connectors to secure the wires together.
