1. Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the electricity at the circuit breaker or fuse box.

2. If you don't have an existing UL-listed mounting box, you will need to install one. Secure the outlet box directly to the building structure using appropriate fasteners and materials. Make sure the outlet box and its bracing can fully support the weight of the fan.
