To insert an option into the TOUGHBOOK universal bay using the Panasonic FZ-VDM551 DVD Multi Drive, please follow these steps:
1. Turn off your computer and disconnect the AC adaptor.
2. Make sure the computer is completely turned off. For certain options like the SSD pack, it is recommended to perform a complete shutdown. To do this, click on the Start menu, then go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. Under "Advanced startup," click on "Restart now." Finally, click on "Turn off your PC."
3. Flip your computer over and remove the battery pack. If you have a second battery pack installed, remove it as well.
4. Ensure that there are no foreign objects under the computer.
5. Insert the desired option into the TOUGHBOOK universal bay. If there is a dummy pack already inserted, remove it first.
6. While sliding the latch (A), pull out the dummy pack.
7. Slide the option into the bay in parallel with the arrow direction until it clicks into the secured position.
8. Carefully insert the battery pack back into the computer.
