To install the RHOX FleetQi Classic Keyless Remote Starter on your electric golf cart, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Before Installation:
- Ensure that you have an electric golf cart.
- Check that the maximum current through the ignition switch does not exceed 2 Amps when the golf cart and all accessories are turned on.
2. After Installation:
- Make sure that your golf cart does not drive when the FleetQiTM is off and the throttle is engaged.
- Ensure that all connections are secure and won't come off due to driving vibrations.
3. Important Caution:
- The FleetQiTM is designed to operate cart ignitions and monitor battery power levels. Do not connect it in series to other accessories such as speakers, lights, voltage regulators, etc.
- The maximum current through the FleetQiTM should not exceed 2 Amps.
- Connectors should be mated correctly the first time to avoid damage to the wiring assembly.
4. Battery Meter Advisory:
- The FleetQiTM battery meter provides power level readings for your electric cart.
- Different cart makes and models may have slight readout inconsistencies.
- The battery meter should be used as a guide, and its accuracy may improve with experience and understanding of your cart's power levels.
5. Installation Instructions for Club Car Precedent/Onward or Yamaha Drive:
- Remove the dashboard.
- Remove the ignition switch.
- Disconnect the connectors from the switch.
- Mount the FleetQiTM to the dashboard using the provided secure lock nut. If necessary, use the provided spacer.
- Connect the FleetQiTM.
