To perform the MACHEREY-NAGEL NANOCOLOR Potassium 50 Tube test, follow these steps:
1. Open a test tube from the set.
2. Add 200 μL of reagent R2 to the test tube.
3. Using a digital piston pipette, add 2 mL of your sample into the test tube.
4. Seal the test tube and shake it vigorously.
5. Wait for 1 minute.
6. Add 1 level measuring spoon of reagent R3 to the test tube.
7. Seal the test tube again and shake it for 10 seconds.
8. Wait for 2 minutes.
9. Clean the outside of the test tube.
10. Place the test tube in a MACHEREY-NAGEL photometer.
11. Measure the absorbance at a wavelength of 690 nm.
Please note that when using other photometers, ensure that measurements are possible in test tubes with a 16 mm outer diameter and calibrate the method if necessary. It is also important to filter out any turbidity before performing the measurement.
