To perform a measurement using the MACHEREY-NAGEL visocolor Eco Fluoride Reagent Set, follow these steps:
1. Rinse a reaction tube with the sample several times and fill it with 5 mL of the sample using the 5 mL syringe provided.
2. Add 0.6 mL of the F-1 reagent using the 1 mL syringe. Close the reaction tube and mix the contents.
3. For the blank value, fill another reaction tube with 5 mL of distilled water using the 5 mL syringe.
4. Add 0.6 mL of the F-1 reagent using the 1 mL syringe. Close the reaction tube and mix the contents.
5. Allow the reaction to occur for 1 minute.
6. Perform the measurement by calling up the method specified in the instruction manual.
After use, make sure to rinse out both reaction tubes thoroughly and seal them properly.
