To perform a pH measurement using the MACHEREY-NAGEL visocolor ECO pH 6.0-8.2 Test Tube, please follow the steps outlined in the user manual:
1. Requisite accessories: You will need test tubes with a diameter of 16 mm (REF 91680).
2. Blank value: Open an empty test tube and fill it up to the 10 mL mark with the test sample.
3. Sample: Open another empty test tube and fill it up to the 10 mL mark with the test sample. Add 1 NANOFIX pH reagent, close the test tube, and mix. Clean the outside of the test tube.
4. Measurement: The reagents in the test kit are suitable for photometric evaluation. If you have a MACHEREY-NAGEL photometer, please refer to its manual for specific instructions on how to use it. After use, rinse out the test tubes thoroughly and seal them. This method can also be applied for the analysis of sea water.
5. Disposing of the samples: Information regarding the disposal of samples can be found in the safety data sheet, which can be downloaded from www.mn-net.com/SDS.
6. Storage: Store the test kit in a cool (< 25 °C) and dry place.
