To interpret the measurement reading on the visocolor ECO Phosphate Test Kit, follow these steps:
1. After adding the reagents and allowing the reaction to occur for 10 minutes, open the measuring glass and place it on position B in the comparator.
2. Slide the comparator until the colors in the inspection hole on top match. This is the visual comparison step.
3. Check the measurement reading in the recess on the comparator reed. The measurement reading corresponds to the phosphate concentration in the water sample.
4. Mid-values can be estimated if the colors do not match exactly. This means that if the colors fall between two values on the comparator reed, you can estimate the phosphate concentration to be between those two values.
It is important to note that the measurement range of the test kit is 0.2–5 mg/L PO4-P. If the phosphate concentration in your water sample falls outside this range, the test kit may not provide accurate results.
For more accurate and precise measurements, the test kit can be used with a photometer such as the PF-12 / PF-12Plus. The reagents can be used for photometric evaluation with the photometer.
Please refer to the instruction manual and the color chart provided with the test kit for further guidance and visual references during the measurement process.
