Installation of the VIDALITE CE1008611 3-Light 15.748-in Black LED Flush Mount Light is a relatively straightforward process. Here is a step-by-step guide based on the provided instruction manual:
1. Turn off the power: Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the power supply to the area where you will be installing the light fixture.
2. Dismantle mounting bracket subassembly: Follow picture 1 in the instruction manual to dismantle the mounting bracket subassembly. Then, install the mounting bracket (B) to the J-Box using the provided mounting screws (A).
3. Connect the fixture to a suitable ground: In accordance with local electrical codes, connect the fixture to a suitable ground wire.
4. Connect the wires: Connect the white wire from the fixture to the neutral power line wire using a wire nut. Similarly, connect the black wire from the fixture to the hot power line wire using another wire nut.
5. Neatly place the wires: Ensure that all wires and wire nut connections are neatly placed inside the canopy (C) of the fixture.
6. Secure the lampshade subassembly: Insert the connecting screws of the bracket subassembly into the mounting holes of the lampshade subassembly (D). Then, secure the lampshade subassembly (D) in place using the provided mounting nuts (E).
