To set the temperature and start the oven on the Maytag MER4600LS electric range, follow these steps:
1. Select the desired oven function using the control knobs. The available functions may include Bake, Convect Bake (on some models), Broil, and Self-Clean.
2. Once you have selected the function, turn the temperature control xxxx to set the desired temperature. The temperature range will be displayed on the control panel.
3. Press the Start button to begin preheating the oven. The oven will start heating up to the set temperature.
4. Once the set temperature is reached, you can place your food inside the oven and close the oven door.
5. If you want to set a specific cook time, you can enter it using the appropriate controls on the control panel. This step is optional and may not be necessary for all cooking functions.
6. If you need to cancel the function during or after the cook time, you can use the Cancel button.
