The maximum number of connected iLOQ bus devices depends on the chosen power supply, branch cable length, and overall power consumption generated by iLOQ bus devices and cable losses. To calculate the overall bus power consumption, you need to add up the power consumptions from each branch. The maximum number of branches in the system is 6, and each branch can have up to 32 bus devices. The maximum single branch length is 300 meters. It is also possible to use double wiring for powering the bus to decrease cable losses and increase the number of connected iLOQ bus devices. However, it is recommended to contact your iLOQ representative for case-specific calculations and other cabling options.
