To connect the mxion miniCap to a decoder without BC options, you will need to make a small modification. Follow these steps:
1. Connect the red wire from the mxion miniCap to the DEC+ terminal on the decoder.
2. Connect the green or black wire from the mxion miniCap to the DEC- terminal on the decoder.
3. Place a switch between the white and black cables of the mxion miniCap.
4. When you want to use the mxion miniCap with the decoder, turn the switch on. This will activate the buffer capacitor function.
5. When you want to use the decoder without the mxion miniCap, turn the switch off.
Please note that this modification is specific to decoders without BC options. For other decoders, please refer to the respective manufacturer's manual for the appropriate connection instructions.
