To connect the mxion maXiCap Spanningsbuffer to your decoder, follow these steps:
1. Refer to the connecting diagrams in the manual for proper installation.
2. Connect the buffer to your decoder by using the provided connectors.
3. The white cable can be connected to any output on the decoder. Activate the special function BC (Buffer) by setting the corresponding CV value. For example, if you want to connect the buffer to output A1, set CV123 to 20. Please consult the manual of your decoder for specific instructions if you are using a different brand.
4. Connect the red wire to the DEC+ terminal on your decoder.
5. Connect the green or black wire to the DEC- terminal on your decoder.
6. If your decoder has a built-in buffer, make sure to turn off the analog current recognition by setting CV29 bit 2 to 0. This will ensure that the decoder does not recognize the voltage from the buffer as analog current. If your decoder does not have BC (Buffer Control) options, you can connect a switch between the white and black cables.
Please note that it is important to carefully follow the instructions in the manual to avoid any connection errors that could potentially damage
