To connect the camera to the receiver, follow these steps:
1. Plug in the camera (baby unit) into the mains, placing it at least 1 meter from your baby's head and up to 2.5 meters from the baby for good picture quality. The camera needs to be plugged into the mains as it does not have a battery.
2. If you are switching on the receiver (parent unit) for the first time, plug it into the mains for 8 hours using the adapter supplied to charge it. If the parent unit is already charged, you can switch it on and use it without plugging it in, benefiting from 8 hours of battery life.
3. When both the parent and baby units are switched on, they will automatically connect and pair. The connection light on the parent unit will show a network signal icon on the top left of the screen. If the units are paired successfully, the signal strength indicator will show the maximum number of bars (4). If there is no connection, the signal strength indicator will show no bars and display "No Link."
If you need to reconnect the camera to the receiver:
1. Press the Menu button on the receiver's display screen and select "Manage cameras."
2. Press and hold the pairing & call button on the camera until you hear a short sound.
3. Press the OK button on the receiver to start the pairing process.
To disconnect the camera from the receiver:
1. Press the Menu button on the receiver's display screen and select "Manage cameras."
2. Press and hold the OK button on the display screen to stop the connection.
Please note that if you experience difficulties with pairing, you can refer to the FAQ section available on the BEABA ZEN CONNECT app for further assistance.
