To install the USB driver for the Control iD iDBio USB Biometric Reader on Windows 7, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the iDBio equipment to your computer.
2. Go to the start menu and search for Device Manager.
3. In the Device Manager window, find the "CDC Serial" device recognized as "Other Devices".
4. Right-click on the "CDC Serial" device and select the Update Driver option.
5. Click Browse my computer for driver software.
6. Click Let me choose from a list of device drivers on my computer.

8. In the Driver Update window, select "iDBio", click Next, and confirm the driver installation.
9. Wait until Windows finishes installing the driver.
10. Identify in Device Manager the "iDBio (COMx)" recognized as "Ports (COM & LPT)".
