To clean the BOSCH TWK3P420GB Cordless Electric Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Use a damp cloth to clean the outside of the kettle and base. Avoid using strong or abrasive cleaning agents.
3. Remove the limescale filter and soak it in a little vinegar. Rinse it clean with clear water.
4. Rinse the kettle and the limescale filter with clear water.
5. Regular descaling is recommended to ensure proper function and prolong the kettle's lifespan. You can descale the kettle with vinegar or a commercial descaling agent.
- Fill the kettle with water up to the max mark and bring it to a boil.
- Add a small amount of white vinegar and let it sit for several hours. Alternatively, you can use a commercial descaling product following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Rinse the kettle and the limescale filter with clear water.
- Avoid using hard objects to remove limescale residue as it may damage the seal.
6. If you use the kettle daily, descale it more frequently.
