To mount the EVOCHARGE iEVSE Home 40A EVSE Charging Station, follow these steps:
1. Before mounting, determine a suitable location on a wooden or masonry/concrete wall that can support the weight of the unit.
2. Secure the main body mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate screws.
3. Follow the applicable accessibility requirements for the mounting position. For indoor use, mount the unit between 18 inches (450 mm) and 4 feet (1.2m) from the floor. For outdoor use, mount it between 24 inches (600 mm) and 4 feet (1.2m) from the floor.
4. The mounting bracket has ten xxxx holes, but if only two screws are used, they should pass through the middle two xxxx holes of the bracket. The other xxxx holes are reserved for the user.
5. Use the recommended xxxx type and torque force based on the type of wall:
a. For masonry walls, use M6 mechanical screws.
b. For finished walls supported by wood studs, use 1/4" or M6 tapping screws.
6. Mount the charge point onto the mounting bracket and lock the screws.
7. Plug in the power cord, ensuring that the outlet is located 20-26 inches from the ground.
