To connect the Sonos Beam Gen 2 Soundbar to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect any existing home theater or surround sound equipment from your TV.
2. Connect any external devices, like a cable box or DVD player, directly to your TV.
3. Turn on your TV.
4. Connect the power cord of the Sonos Beam Gen 2 Soundbar to a power outlet.
5. Use the HDMI cable (included) to connect the Sonos Beam Gen 2 Soundbar to your TV's HDMI ARC (or eARC) port. If your TV doesn't have an HDMI ARC or eARC port, you'll need to use the optical adapter included in the package. Remove the protective cap from the optical adapter and attach it to the HDMI cable, then connect the optical adapter to your TV's optical digital audio output.
6. Once the connections are made, you can control the Sonos Beam Gen 2 Soundbar using the Sonos app, your voice, or your TV remote.
Note: It is important to use the supplied power cord and follow the instructions provided in the manual to ensure proper setup and functionality.
